Welcome!

The idea for Route 66 was started by Adrenalin (Chris Sargent Jr.) in, along with Audio (Chuck Barsalow), Rogue (Walter Byrne) and Aka Sleeper (Shannon Lewis) in February 2003 and were later joined by Will Taylor in 2005. Currently Adrenalin is the driving force behind Route 66, but Will Taylor and Mr. Niceguy remain active in various ways. Rogue has given up DJing and is in Afghanistan with the U.S. military, so lets hope he returns home safely. Audio still DJ's occasionally and remains close to the crew.  

Route 66 Promotions was developed to help introduce new, undiscovered DJ talent to new markets, book creative artists in the Northeast U.S. and Quebec, Canada, assist organizations with event promotion and ticket sales, as well as expand our own DJ skills and network around the world. Current endeavours include the BRING THE NOISE internet radio show that broadcasts on the worlds fastest growing and most supported internet radio station TECHNO.FM and the brand new TECHNO/LOGIC techno monthly at Circus Afterhours in Montreal, Canada, which features regional & local artists, as well as the top names in techno.

In the early days of Route 66, people didn't think it would amount to anything because everyone had heard too many people over the years say "I'm going to start a crew and throw parties and make my mark on electronic history", which as we all know, is usually someone talking shit or someone that's had too many drinks that night! But here we are 5 years later and counting. Proving the sceptics wrong and still going strong is a great feeling and we thank everyone who has supported us in any way over the last 5 years. Route 66 broadcasts BRING THE NOISE radio to the masses worldwide, which brings you the best in underground techno every Sunday on the worlds best internet radio station TECHNO.FM. Each show features the worlds top techno practioners like RHYTHM TECHNOLOGIES (Damaged Trax / Yolk - Ireland), DAVE THE DRUMMER (Hydraulix / Stay Up Forever / Apex - UK), DARC MARC (Purenoise / Maximum Minimum - UK), AARON LIBERATOR (Stay Up Forever Collective - UK), ALEX CALVER (Glitch - UK), etc., as well as some of the scenes hottest up & coming artists like MICHAEL WENZ (Drop Bass Network / Drumasheez - USA), BRAD LEE (More Punk Than Funk - USA), WETWORKS (Punish - USA) and more. Most guest mixes, with permission, will be hosted for a short time after their initial broadcast.
